Momentum Testing was born out of the need for rapid, on-site COVID-19 testing in Vancouver, and at scale in Canada. Communities and businesses today need an on-site, safe and fast approach to COVID-19 testing. Armed with test results in as little as 15 minutes, Momentum Testing is geared towards operational excellence, individual service, and community safety.

The Team

Sohum Bilawal, Chief Executive Officer

Sohum Bilawal is a recent graduate from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. He is passionate about leveraging technology to deliver comfort and value to customers, and strives toward achieving operational excellence, patient health, and safety.

Dr. Zachary Laksman, MD, Chief Medical Officer

Clinician Scientist with a focus and expertise in laboratory testing and clinical care pathways. Recognized as one of Canada's top 40 under 40 in 2019 for contributions and achievements in health care and innovation.

Dr. Laksman supervises the medical operations at Momentum Testing and guides the team on medical prudence, procedures, and patient safety.

James Dayson

Entrepreneur and businessman James Dayson is the Principal of a Vancouver-based impact investment company. He champions enterprises that generate positive social and environmental impact alongside financial return; providing capital and mentoring founders, innovators and early-stage CEOs. As a director of Momentum Testing, James is committed to providing the highest level of care and accuracy to keep ourselves, families and communities safe.
